ShareCost shows two kinds of statistics: your personal spending across groups, and the spending of a single group.
Your personal statistics
- On Home, find Monthly Statistics and tap Show more. My Statistics opens.
- Pick a Time Period: Week, Month, 30 days, 3 Months, 6 Months or Year. Use the arrows to move to the Previous period or Next period, and Back to current period to return.
- Read Your Spending (your share of expenses, with the change vs. previous period), Your Daily Avg and the number of Categories.
- Scroll to the Spending Trend line and the Category Breakdown donut. Tap a category in the legend to hide or show it.
The numbers follow the group selected on Home. Choose the All Groups card to see everything.
A group's statistics
- Open the group and go to the Stats tab.
- Pick the range: Month, 30 days, 3 months, 6 months, Year or All.
- Read:
- Total Group Spending, with the number of Members and Categories.
- Your Expense Flows (Who paid for whom): what you paid for others and what they paid for you. Settlements are not included.
- Member Contributions (Who spent the most).
- Category Breakdown (Group spending by category).
- Member Balances (Who owes what).
Good to know
- Personal statistics count your share of each expense, not the whole expense.
- Foreign-currency expenses are converted with their stored rate, so charts in a mixed-currency group are approximate.
- Months follow your Start of month setting, so a month can begin on your payday, see Set the start of your week and month. My Statistics shows a hint Payday not on the 1st? until you set it.
- No data available yet means there are no expenses in the chosen period.
