The web app at my.sharecost.app is a companion to the iOS and Android apps. Sign in with the same account and you see the same groups, expenses and balances. It is built for a big screen: tables, filters, bulk actions and charts.
Open the web app
- Go to my.sharecost.app, or open the Profile tab in the app, tap ShareCost Web and then Open Web App.
- Sign in with your e-mail and password, a Magic Link or Continue with Google, see Create a ShareCost account and sign in.
Find your way around
The sidebar on the left has Dashboard, Expenses, Activity, Statistics and Wallet Import, followed by a Groups section with each group. The header holds the add-expense button, the notification bell, the Language selector and your profile. The theme toggle is in the sidebar footer.
- Dashboard: Your Groups (with New Group, an invite code field and Reorder) and Recent Activity.
- A group page has the tabs Expenses, Balances, Members, Settlements and Statistics, and the actions Import, Expense, Settle Up and, for admins, Edit Group.
- Expenses: all expenses across groups with search, filters, sorting and multi-select.
What is only on the web

What is only in the mobile app
Receipt scanning, Apple Pay and Google Pay import, recurring expense templates, custom exchange rates, receipt photos and locations, payment methods and QR codes, admin actions on real members, notification preferences, biometric lock and account deletion. The web app shows the results (receipts, locations, generated expenses) but does not create them.
Good to know
- The web app needs an internet connection; changes made in the app while offline appear after the phone syncs.
- Changes you make on the web reach the phones of all members right away.
