Save how people can pay you (bank account, Revolut, PayPal and more). When someone settles up with you, ShareCost shows your details and, for supported methods, a QR code they can scan with their banking app. Your details are shown only to members of groups you share.
Add a payment method
- Open the Profile tab, tap Edit Profile, then Bank Account & Payment Methods. The Payment Information screen opens. The first time, an introduction explains how your details are used; tap Got it, thanks!.
- Tap Add Payment Method and pick a type. Methods are grouped into Bank Transfer (for example Czech Bank Account, IBAN (International), UK Bank Account, US Bank Account (ACH), Australian Bank Account), Digital Wallets (for example Revolut, PayPal, Venmo) and Mobile Payment (for example Phone Number, UPI, PIX).
- Fill in the fields, add a Label (optional) and save.
The app checks formats, for example Invalid IBAN or Account number must be 8 digits.
Manage your methods
- Tap a method to edit it.
- Delete a method with Remove this payment method?. If you delete the primary one, the next method becomes primary.
- Mark the method you prefer as primary; it is shown first to payers.
Payment QR codes
Enable Payment QR Codes is on by default. With it on, the settle-up screen can show Czech QR Payment or SEPA QR Payment codes that bank apps read, or a generic QR Payment. Switch it off if you do not want QR codes generated from your details.
