Your name and photo are what other members see next to your expenses and comments. Your e-mail address identifies your account and cannot be changed.
Change your name or photo
- Open the Profile tab. It shows your photo, name and e-mail, plus how many Groups, Expenses and Members you have.
- Tap Edit Profile.
- Tap Change Photo and choose Take Photo, Choose from Library or Remove Photo.
- Edit Name. It cannot be empty.
- Save. You see Profile updated successfully.
The Email field is read-only (Email cannot be changed).

Good to know
- The camera and photo library need permission (Please grant permission to access your photos).
- Name and photo changes sync to all your groups and to the web app.
- Your default currency and language live under Settings, not in the profile, see Change your default currency.
Web
- Click your name in the sidebar footer or the avatar in the header to open the Profile page. It shows Member since and your Account Details.
- Click Edit Profile, change Display Name or Default Currency, and click Save Changes.
The e-mail field reads Email cannot be changed here. Profile photos are changed in the mobile app.
