Passwords exist only for accounts created with an e-mail address. If you sign in with Google, Facebook or Apple you have no ShareCost password and manage sign-in with that provider.
Change your password while signed in
- Open the Profile tab and tap Edit Profile.
- Under Security, tap Change Password (Reset your password via email).
- Confirm Send Email. You see Password reset email sent.
- Open the e-mail and follow the link. Set the new password and sign in again with it.
The Change Password row is only shown for e-mail and magic-link accounts.
Forgot your password
The mobile sign-in screen has no password reset link. You have two options:
- Tap Sign in with Email, then Sign in with Magic Link, enter your e-mail and open the link from the e-mail. Once signed in, set a new password as described above.
- Use the web app's Forgot password? page, described below.

- Reset links can only be used once. If you see Authentication link is invalid or has expired, request a new one.
- Check the spam folder if the e-mail does not arrive within a few minutes.
