Every notification is also kept in the in-app inbox, so you can catch up even if you missed the push message.
Open the inbox
On Home, tap the bell in the header. The badge shows how many notifications are unread. The Notifications screen opens.
Read and act
- Filter with All, Unread, Expenses, Settlements or Groups.
- Tap a notification to open the related expense, comment, dispute, group or balance.
- Tap Mark all read to clear the unread badge.
- Delete a single notification from its row, or tap Delete all to remove everything in the current filter. The app asks Are you sure you want to delete … notifications? This action cannot be undone.
When the list is empty you see No notifications yet (You'll see notifications here when there's activity in your groups).
Good to know
- Deleting notifications does not delete the expenses or comments they point to.
- The inbox is synced; reading or deleting on one device applies on the others.
- To stop receiving a kind of notification, change the switches in Notification Preferences, see Manage push notifications.
- The banner Push Notifications Disabled at the top means the phone blocks ShareCost notifications; tap Enable in Settings.
